Connect AI tools to Amplitude via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to analyze product data, experiments, and user behavior

🚀 Quickstart

Connect to the Amplitude MCP server with Nango and call MCP tools in minutes. Amplitude MCP uses OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration, so no app registration is required.

1. Create the integration

   In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Amplitude (MCP).

2. Choose region and authorize

   Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then log in to Amplitude. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.

3. Call an Amplitude MCP tool

   Make your first MCP request (initialize handshake). Replace the placeholders below with your secret key, integration ID, and connection ID:

   Install Nango’s backend SDK with npm i @nangohq/node. Then run:
